Neil Barham started in the building trade 12 years ago working originally for a builder/stonemason
and then for a qualified carpenter and joiner.

Based in Wells, Somerset, and led by Neil Barham, he and his team offer a complete extension building service. Neil continues to work closely with local authority planning, conservation and building regulations to ensure all aspects of the development complies fully.

Providing professional project management and highly skilled building services for all new builds, Neil has completed several new build properties. Always mindful of timescales, Neil is confident to provide a very high standard of workmanship.
Since working as a sole contractor and now operating as a limited company, Neil has completed a wide variety of projects from simple garden wall construction to larger scale complete new home builds.
To keep his building skills and services current, professional and of a high standard, Neil regularly liaises
with conservation, planning and building Regulation authorities to ensure good practice and an excellent
quality of workmanship.
Restoration and Heritage
A specialist in natural stonework, at Neil Barham Building Services, we understand the essential requirements of restoring older properties sympathetically, ensuring all materials and applications enhance the property and are not detrimental its period quality.
General Building
Neil has completed modern extensions and maintenance on numerous properties and is happy to be considered for all types of general building including brickwork and stone garden walls as well as bespoke construction and roofing.
Recent projects have also included renovations of Grade II listed buildings using traditional materials and techniques. Lime repair of lime mortar on these period properties is extremely important, and Neil has vast experience in the right use of these materials, and the correct techniques in using them.
Neil specialises in stonework, however, as a general builder, he has completed modern extensions, renovations and a variety of building maintenance projects including brickwork, carpentry and roofing as well as completing all modern building work.
Neil always offers a very high standard of craftsmanship and strives to ensure all his clients are wholly satisfied with the level of his professional and qualified workmanship and the finished product.
